Chief Executive Officer
Harry is a transformational leader with extensive experience as CEO and COO in both divisions of Fortune 100 companies as well as entrepreneurial-driven private/public technology startup companies. He has raised more than $500M for startup companies and led successful M&A deals and corporate integrations.
Prior to joining Bay, Harry served as COO of Compass Networks, CEO and then Chairman of Simpler Networks, Chairman and CEO of Tellium, Divisional COO at Lucent Technologies, COO of Yurie Systems, and Defense Markets VP for AT&T. Harry has also been an owner of some private businesses and an advisor to several early-stage startup companies. Harry holds a B.S. in Finance from Fairfield University and a J.D. from The University of Connecticut School of Law.
Chief Financial Officer
Chief Financial Officer, Mike has over 25 years of public and private company corporate-level financial management experience in the semiconductor and RF/microwave electronics industries. Prior to Bay, he was VP of Finance, CFO and Secretary of Integrated Silicon Solutions, Inc. (ISSI), a publicly-owned fabless developer of high performance memory semiconductors. Prior to ISSI, Mike was Senior VP of Finance, CFO and Secretary of REMEC, Inc., a publicly-owned designer and manufacturer of RF/microwave frequency subsystems. Mike joined REMEC via REMEC's acquisition of privately-owned Magnum Microwave Corporation where he served as Magnum's Senior VP of Finance and CFO. Mike began his career at Watkins-Johnson Company as a financial analyst. Mike holds an MBA and a BS.
COO and Executive Vice President Emerging Solutions
Our COO, Russel Davis has over 25 years of experience in management, operational and technical leadership roles ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Bay he was co-founder and COO of a well-funded venture developing telecommunications hardware and the service platform managing NFC devices and transactions for transportation and payment systems. He also served as CTO and VP of Product Development for CIC (public company), Director of Services for Everex Systems (acquired by FPG), Field Services Engineering Management at Centel Information Systems (Acquired by Sprint) and the US Navy.
Chief Revenue Officer
Kathy possesses an extensive and successful history of executive leadership, operational management and sales execution for startup and Fortune 500 businesses within the telecommunications industry.
Prior to joining Bay, Kathy was President of XLNT Technologies, Inc., COO at Hibernia Networks, President / CEO / Director for Westcom Corporation, President / CEO / Director at Focal Communications, CEO and Chairman of LightTrade, Inc., Founder and Managing Partner of Acappella Ventures, President for North America at Level 3 Communications, President of two divisions of MFS Communications, VP of National Accounts at Cable & Wireless, and management roles at Lightnet, Inc., National Gateway Telecom, American Satellite Company and RCA Americom. Kathy holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Rutgers University.

Jonatan Schmidt has 25+ years experience in solutions design and delivery for hardware, software and services. Previously, he was CTO and Chief Scientist at Hypercom, Founder and CTO at One Network, Founder and CTO at Tranzfinity, and Founder and CSO at SiVault Systems
CTO and Chief Scientist
CTO and Chief Scientist, Gerry has over 15 years of experience in networking systems and platform development as well as business development. Gerry is providing strategic direction, working with network equipment vendors and service providers in developing high performance, state of the art, solutions for Carrier, Service Provider and Enterprise networks. Prior to Bay, Gerry was Chief Architect at Cratos Networks where he built and marketed a Next Gen SONET/Data platform. Prior to Cratos, Gerry was Systems Architect at 3Com (U.S. Robotics) Carrier Systems Group developing leading edge access solutions and platforms for Service Providers and at GTE, Gerry performed systems and development engineering allowing commercial network equipment to be used for military applications. Gerry holds a BSEE and an MSEE from the University of New Hampshire.
Executive Vice President Business Development
Robert has over 28 years of global leadership experience in engineering, sales and business development across multiple industries including; networking systems, semiconductors, and the DOD and Intelligence Community.
Prior to Bay Microsystems, Robert served as President and Executive Managing Partner of The Collective Consulting Group., a Washington DC based business development firm specializing in assisting Fortune 500 companies do business with the US Federal Government. He has also held senior management positions at Lucent Technologies Internetworking Division, Lucent Government Solutions Group, Mantra Systems, Integrated Telecom (PMC), Chrysalis Symbolic Design, Viewlogic and LSI Logic, and Westinghouse Electronic Defense Group. Robert holds a B.S.E.E. from Youngstown State University.
Senior Vice President of Systems Engineering
Senior Vice President of Systems Engineering, Bob has over 30 years experience in networking circuit, sub-system, and system design and development. He is leading our systems engineering teams in Germantown, Maryland and San Jose, California. Prior to Bay, Bob was the Director of Systems Engineering at Mantra Communications where he developed the hardware and software for chassis-based and desktop-based switching systems. Prior to Mantra, Bob was the Director of Engineering at Excelan developing Ethernet switches with ATM and DSL uplinks. Prior to Excelan, he held various positions at IgT (acquired by PMC Sierra), Hughes Network Systems, and Litton Industries. At IgT and Hughes he led the hardware and software development of Ethernet and ATM switching silicon, ATM network interface modules, Frame Relay switches and Ethernet switches and routers. Bob holds a BSEE from the University of Maryland, and a MSEE from Johns Hopkins University.
