Biscayne is the industry's lowest power, lowest cost 10G/5G programmable classification processor with policing.  Biscayne connects seamlessly to Montego®, our single chip 10G programmable internetworking processor, traffic manager and SAR. Based on the same patented deterministic, superscalar, pipelined architecture as Montego, Biscayne's classification and policing functions support a wide range of existing and emerging applications, including Metro Ethernet and carrier grade IPv6-enabled switches and routers.

Lighthouse Tool Suite:

Lighthouse is a complete hardware and software development environment facilitating the design of next generation network equipment. Lighthouse includes both hardware and software tools required to accelerate network system solutions based upon Biscayne. Lighthouse includes the following:

• Hardware Development Environment (HDE) - This comprises of the BayPort demonstration and evaluation platform, evaluation boards and reference designs to accelerate the hardware design in a target environment.
• Software Development Environment (SDE) - This comprises of the Simulator, Traffic Generator/Analyzer, IDE, Compiler, Debugger and NEXTware™ Software Suite to jump-start the software development process.
